What if there is a world where monsters from all the different folklores co-exist? What if there is a world where monsters have their own unique cities, cultures, and life-styles?
Welcome to Devil City: a lively Eastern monster city governed by the Chinese Devil King Yama. It was originally built by King Yama for the straying monsters. It soon evolved into a big city and became the center of activities such as works, trades, entertainments and other monster matters. For King Yama’s daughter, Devil City is not only her home, it is also her playground.
In designing the world of Yameme, we are putting a new spin on ancient legends. By redesigning famous Chinese monsters into appealing characters with colorful personalities, and create interesting situations for them to react to, we are making ancient legends feel fresh and new to our audience.
